Dear Father,
As we get closer to the date of the traditional celebration of Christ's birth, we realize there are many who are struggling to find a reason for joy.
Whether their pain is physical, spiritual, or emotional, will you show us how to bless those in our spheres of influence who most need a reminder of the hope and help you offer through Jesus Christ our Lord?
For each blessing we've received we confess our unworthiness and recognize that every good and perfect gift comes from you. So with humble hearts we say thank you and offer our sincerest gratitude, asking that you open our eyes to the needs around us in order that we may honor you faithfully.
In Jesus' Holy Name, Amen.
